As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will develop and test software for distributed vehicle systems, supporting hybrid and electric platforms. You’ll work at the intersection of embedded software, vehicle systems and automated testing to deliver reliable, robust solutions. You will design, implement and verify distributed system and test solutions, and lead automated testing efforts. The role combines software integration, troubleshooting and ongoing improvement of development and testing processes to ensure vehicle ECUs work cohesively.

• Develop, integrate and test embedded systems for vehicle systems and ECUs
• Design, test and implement distributed system and test solutions
• Develop automated test cases, test frameworks and test environments
• Analyze communication and behavior across distributed ECUs and vehicle networks
• Work with CAN and CAN-based communication, and where applicable Ethernet
• Perform software integration, verification, validation and troubleshooting
• Ensure consistency and completeness of the integration plan
• Analyze test results, identify root causes and support resolution of software and system issues
• Contribute to software quality, architecture, coding standards and continuous improvement of development and testing processes
• Responsible for commissioning all digital systems in the vehicle in accordance with the integration plan
